The Canopy lineup

Canopy expanded into Ulta Beauty on July 27, bringing its humidifiers, shower filtration, aromatherapy, and sleep products into mainstream beauty retail. A curated assortment now sits within Wellness by Ulta Beauty in roughly 360 stores nationwide, with a larger range online at Ulta.com.

The in-store lineup centers on a bedside humidifier bundled with an Ulta-exclusive aroma called Sunlit, alongside a sound-plus-aroma machine and a mini filtered showerhead. The online assortment goes further: an air purifier, a bathtub filter, fixed and handheld showerheads in four finishes, and replacement filters for all of it. Canopy has worked this channel before — its filtered showerhead has been sold through Sephora since 2023.

Why we care

The move matters because of where these products now live. Humidifiers and shower filters have historically been sold as appliances or plumbing; merchandised next to skincare, they get discovered by different buyers, and the claims get framed around skin and hair rather than building performance. That framing is worth watching — the marketing follows the aisle, not the mechanism.

The larger pattern: healthy-home technology is becoming beauty retail before it becomes normal residential infrastructure. Humidity and water quality are environmental inputs either way. The aisle they are sold in changes who pays attention, not what the products do.
