KA Residences launched in April: a 28-unit, invite-only Houston development co-founded by developer Moiz Bhamani and interior designer Nina Magon, priced from $3.5 million to $15 million. Groundbreaking is slated for late 2026. The detail that earns it a brief is in the floor plan — every residence includes a roughly 400-square-foot private wellness suite the developers call the Merkaba room.

The room ships with a meditation pod with guided programming, a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, a red-light dry sauna, a cold plunge, an in-floor body scanner, and circadian lighting. Each home also gets a "sky backyard" balcony with a 10-by-20-foot pool, on top of the building's shared program: a lap pool, padel court, yoga studio, and sound-bath facility.

Why we care

Luxury developments have historically concentrated wellness on a communal amenity floor — one gym and one spa shared by the building. KA moves meaningful wellness square footage inside the individual home, into the base floor plan. That is a different claim about how people will live than a nicer shared gym.

The calibration: the marketing runs well ahead of the evidence — "sacred geometry," hyperbaric anti-aging, consciousness language — and those are commercial claims, not established outcomes. The durable signal is architectural. A room type becomes culturally established when architects begin drawing it into the standard floor plan, and that is what is happening here.
