Sauna and Heat Adaptation

A weekly sauna structure that builds heat tolerance progressively instead of repeating the same session forever.

Overview

Regular sauna use is associated with lower cardiovascular mortality in long-running observational research, and progressive heat exposure produces reliable acclimation effects — the body adapts to heat the way it adapts to training load. This entry merges two protocols Compound previously listed separately: a weekly session structure, and a progressive build in duration and temperature for people who want to develop heat tolerance deliberately. Start conservative. The adaptation comes from consistency across weeks, not from any single long session.
