Best Approach

A quality rack and barbell set is the foundation of any serious home gym. Don't cheap out on the bar — it's the piece you touch every session. 3x3 11-gauge steel racks (Rogue, REP) will last decades. Start with a power rack, quality barbell, bumper plates, and an adjustable bench. Everything else is a nice-to-have.
