A screenless bedside monitor pointed at the room instead of the body. Home reads the four variables that shape a bedroom through a deeper sensor stack than most air monitors carry: PM1.0/2.5/10, CO₂, VOCs, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde and smoke; temperature and humidity; a spectral light sensor covering red, green, blue and infrared plus UVA/UVB/UVC; and a dBA microphone that scores ambient noise and flags snoring and coughing. Paired with an Ultrahuman ring, the app lines those readings up against sleep stages, which is the case for buying this over a good standalone air quality monitor at half the price. The limitation is structural — it measures and does not act. No filtration, no dehumidification, and no smart home integration to close a shade or start a purifier on the reading, which is where most of the critical coverage of the $549 price has landed. Privacy hardware is better than the category norm: physical cut-off switches for the microphone and for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and Ultrahuman states audio is deleted after two days. 12 × 12 × 4.7 cm of anodised aluminium, 540 g, no subscription.
