The treadmill Technogym built to live in a room instead of hide in a basement. Antonio Citterio and Toan Nguyen wrapped the deck in micro-polished steel and cast aluminum so it reads as furniture — reflective, quiet, and deliberately un-gym-like. Underneath the design is a real machine: a near-silent motor and a sprung running surface take the impact out of everything from an incline walk to interval work, up to 11.2 mph and a 15% grade. A 21.5" touchscreen runs Technogym's trainer-led sessions, guided outdoor routes, and streaming, while built-in grip sensors and contactless Apple Watch pairing handle heart rate. Expensive, and unapologetically a design object — which is exactly why it lands in gyms meant to be seen.
