Zehnder builds the part of air quality nobody can see. The ComfoAir Q450 is a whole-house heat-recovery ventilator: it continuously swaps stale indoor air for filtered outdoor air while capturing 95% of the heat that would normally go out the wall. The ComfoAir 70 does the same job for a single room, no ductwork project required.

Purifiers clean the air you already have; ventilation replaces it. That distinction is why HRV is the standard in passive-house construction and why serious air-quality builds start here, not with a box on the floor. It's the least glamorous purchase in this directory and arguably the most fundamental.
